The new trailer shows the stars donning the sequins and shimmying around the ballroom to form a brand new ident advertising Strictly Come Dancing.
As the singer puts on her red lipstick, comedian Susan Calman pops up and starts singing with her before the cast of professionals are seen with metallic rings panning out.
EastEnders hunk Davood Ghadami, Reverend Richard Coles and chef Simon Rimmer are all looking dapper in their suits as they gear up for the new series and every celebrity in the 15-strong cast features in the sparkly affair.
At the end, Tess Daly can be heard as the voiceover saying “feel the Strictly effect on BBC One” as the logo on screen changes to the famous glitterball.
Although excitement was already at a very high level among fans, the new trailer got everybody talking when it was released on Friday night.
Replying to the official account, one wrote: “I’m so looking forward to this starting! Amazing cast this year.”
While another wrote: “Really looking forward to it. Especially having seen the happy, sparkly intro.”
“Thats me sorted now till xmas,” somebody else excitedly responded, complete with emojis.
The launch show next week will feature a special tribute to the late Sir Bruce Forsyth, who passed away last month.
In an exclusive chat with OK! Online, dancer Oti Mabuse revealed that the routine will be a “joyous celebration of his life“.
The 27 year old explained: “I think the special one will be Bruce’s number – that will be one that will touch all of us.
“We just can’t wait to say our goodbyes to him in the best way we can. It’s emotional, but a happy one. It’s a joyous celebration of his life.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Saturday 9 September at 7pm.
