Robyn&#a hundred and sixty;kicks off a quick North American tour Saturday at Boston Calling, and for the Swedish singer’s three upcoming competition gigs, she’ll revisit a few of her largest singles as part of a remix project that she’ll debut live onstage.
For the performances, Robyn invited 9 producers – a few of her favorite artists in dance music, together with Cassius, Wolfgang Voigt and Mr. Tophat – to remix her tracks. She’ll then perform those new versions at her festival gigs at Boston Calling, big apple’s Governors Ball and Toronto’s container trip.
“Remixes make me take heed to a tune another way; they stretch you out as a listener and depart house for different things that a pop track usually doesn’t,” Robyn said in a statement. “i am hoping so to share this experience with my audiences at Governors Ball, Boston Calling, and container commute over the subsequent week and just dancing collectively…”
Robyn will unencumber the remixes from the pageant in the coming month, her web page guarantees.
