On “There’s Alot Going On,” Vic Mensa recalls working on “Wolves” with Kanye West — so maybe ’Ye is a little biased in his praise of the video.
But even the non-Kanye among us can surely appreciate the latest visual from Vic. Because there’s certainly a lot going on here — although not visually, exactly. But it’s the fact that he takes a personal lyrical approach that makes the accompanying visual work so well.

On the song, which is the title track from his recently released EP of the same name, Vic puts on his storytelling hat, tracking many ups and downs from the last few years: Moving to L.A., battling depression, contemplating suicide, moving back home, signing with Roc Nation, and plenty more.
