Speaking to her 93k followers, the Bake Off star – who came second in the 2013 season of the popular show – lashed out at Paul, for apparently blocking her on social media.
She wrote: “Mad to think that in a few years the bakers might be in my position, blocked by paul hollywood on twitter dot com,”
And the bitter tweet sparked uproar with fans, with one writing: “Er, is there just the tiniest chance that it might be because of something you’ve said or done? Crazy thought I know…”
“You were on the show four years ago, get over it. Does this man define your life so much?” wrote another, while a third added: “Lol Lol Lol! What did you do? Go Ruby!”
It’s not the first time the star has lashed out online at Paul.
She previously called him a “peacocking man child” after it was unveiled he would be moving to Channel 4 with the Bake Off – without Mary Berry.
She said at the time: “This, from a man who turned up to work revving a rental Lamborghini. Or was it a Ferrari? I don’t remember, the air was thick with testosterone.”
She also hit out at a whole host of celebrity chefs during the general election, for not speaking out about politics.
The chef bombarded fellow cooks with comments in front of her 91.5k followers, after claiming: “Lots of big names staying suspiciously silent today despite their entire fortune/following being built on a ~kind and inclusive~ ethos. Sorry but silence makes you a tory. if u think some ideological non-partisan thing is more valuable than getting a Labour govt in, get lost.
“I’m looking at lots of big names in food btw but frankly i don’t know why i’m surprised.”
She the took aim at those in her profession for not speaking out, saying to Nigella Lawson: “Please speak up?” while asking the Hairy Bikers to: “Step forward”.
She then savagely wrote two words to Jamie Oliver, which read: “You p***k.”
