As Good Morning Britain fans around the country are waking up for the next two weeks, Jeremy Kyle will be greeting them having replaced Piers Morgan on the popular breakfast show for part of the summer break.
His first day on Monday received a mixed reception as his presence on the show divided social media and some called for Piers’ return.
However, some fans have found themselves distracted from what is being said on the show after noticing the presenter’s habit of shuffling the desk.
One infuriated viewer wrote: “If Jeremy Kyle shuffles his papers one more time… #gmb.”
While another posted on their account: “#gmb #jeremykyle how many times will Kyle pick up his papers and tap them on the desk?”
“Why does Jezza keep shuffling his papers on #GMB ? It’s getting rather annoying! @kategarraway,” a user said.
But others were quick to say how they were “loving” the new-look GMB and the “lively” host.
Jeremy is one of a few presenters to step in for Piers and Susanna while they take their annual summer break.
This comes after Piers threatened to quit the show for good after saying that he wouldn’t have to get up at the crack of dawn for a while. However, he then added the word “ever” which resulted in a few raised eyebrows.
“It’s our last day tomorrow before we break up for the summer,” he told viewers before adding: “So last chance to see us, possibly ever.”
Reacting to her co-star’s comments, Susanna later took to Twitter where she tweeted: “Last show together tomorrow before the summer @gmb. ‘Possibly ever’ says @piersmorgan,” alongside a shocked emoji face.
But the channel have since confirmed that both regulars will be returning to their roles in September.
Good Morning Britain continues weekdays at 6am on ITV.
