The transgender role model appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss life since transitioning two and half years ago.
Caitlyn opened up to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid about how much her life has changed since making that monumental change.
However, during the chat, Caitlyn took the opportunity to throw major shared at ex wife Kris Jenner and the Kardashian family, of whom it’s well publicised to have not been happy at the release of Caitlyn’s tell-all book.
When asked about the family support she’s received, Caitlyn went on to say that her daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and the wider family have “been nothing but supportive” – purposely excluding the Kardashians during the praise.
She then went on to say: “I really don’t talk to them very often, I just kid of deal with that.”
Caitlyn then added: “Fortunately I have a lot of children.”
The businesswomen explained that her book came as the result of being part of a family full of strong, pointed women, saying: “If you noticed on the show, I always kept my opinion to myself.
“I was always in the background and kept my mouth shut.”
She explained that “the book was my story” and was “honest”, and was “extraordinarily proud of that” – adding: “unfortunately the Kardashians and particularly Kris didn’t see it that way.”
The I Am Cait star then told the hosts that: “Since the book came out I’ve never talked to kris again. Kim i haven’t spoke to in 6-9 months.”
Good Morning Britain viewers watching at home quickly took to Twitter to give their opinions on Caitlyn’s claims about his former family.
“Caitlyn Jenner in GMB saying about how she doesn’t talk to the Kardashians. Mate you made the problem by slating there mum in your book #GMB,” ranted one viewer.
While another said: “Omg some shade is getting thrown at the Kardashian household, this interview isn’t gonna help public relations #GMB.”
With another adding: “Here Caitlyn goes again. Slating the Kardashians to make more cash.”
