Body confident James Argent will be putting his new look to the test as he looks for love [Instagram]
And as the two make themselves at home at the dating agency, it appears it’s set to be a tough ride for Frankie as nerves get the better of him.
Fans will remember that Frankie was controversially kicked off the X Factor in 2011 after breaking a fundamental rule – something which he believes still haunts him till this day.
Speaking exclusively to OK! Online about his attempts to find love, he said: “I wasn’t putting too much pressure of finding someone, for me it was like getting into the swing and feeling comfortable with finding someone and being open to it.
“I was anxious about meeting people as I assumed they’d have this big preconception of me.
“Being back on TV played a big part with my nerves but in terms of dating, that was just it. In terms of meeting anyone I would just assume that they’d have mates, and it’s happened before where someone’s mate would go ‘that Frankie kid, are you sure?’.
“I’ve had that in the past. Even parents are like ‘nah, not happening. I remember that little s**t!’
And Frankie, who came second in series nine of Celebrity Big Brother, even thought of giving up as he wild child past continued to have a negative effect on him finding a partner.
He continued: “I was at the stage where I was like ‘oh f**k it, what’s the point?’”
However, Frankie is now in the capable hands of dating experts Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman as he makes his debut in the E4 show.
But by the sounds of things, the singer will have his work cut out as no-nonsense Nadia has vowed to be tough on the stars.
She told OK! Online, “A lesson to any celeb who comes in the agency. Listen, learn and do as we say.
“I am relentless and if I think someone is coming in and not being their real authentic self I will call them out straight.”
Celebs Go Dating continues weekdays at 10pm on E4.
